Head Nick Folland gets brownie points from parents for his appointment of ‘a young and progressive team’. Particular praise for the new director of music, who has doubled the sizes of choirs and ensembles. Sherborne Prep is independent of Sherborne School and Sherborne Girls, but half its pupils move on to them; the rest go everywhere from Eton to Canford, with lots of scholarships.
