Winning Astronaut to Visit The Prep

We are very excited to announce that we have secured an exciting speaker, Professor Suzie Imber for Prize Giving this year. Suzie is a leading light in astrophysics, and a mountaineer. She won the BBC competition “Astronauts: Do you have what it takes?” and she is looking forward to working on the International Space Station, and potentially on Mars. She is a great role model for all our children, and I am delighted that she is also going to engage with the School via Skype in assembly before the event to set certain challenges for our pupils. Suzanne Imber

Suzanne (Suzie) Imber (born May 1983) is a Planetary Scientist, and Pro-Vice Chancellor (Students) at the University of Leicester. She was the winner of the 2017 BBC Two television program Astronauts, Do You Have What It Takes?. Suzie was born in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
