Drama

Performing Arts plays a large part in the lives of our children. We aim to provide an appreciation of drama that will permanently enrich the lives of all our children through instilling confidence, communication, improvisation and presentation skills.  In addition to weekly lessons with a drama specialist, there are a number of performance opportunities each year, and every child is included in the year group plays. If your child is especially keen on drama then he or she can take the LAMDA courses offered as part of the Saturday Activities programme.  For children who enjoy the technical side of productions there is plenty of scope to get involved in stage design, lighting and props. A number of children have also won Drama scholarships to senior schools in recent years.

Circus Skills and Dance are extremely popular activities too, throughout the year groups.  One of the highlights of the year in Pre-Prep is the Performing Arts Workshop, a celebration of music, dance of all genres, and of circus skills.
