Sport

We aim to ensure that your children are given the best possible start by developing physical skills through daily activities for the Nursery children and a variety of physical activities are available for the older children, such as tag rugby, hockey, football in Year 2 (6 -7 years old).

All children from Reception (4 - 5 years) upwards have Sport lessons with our PE specialist and Year 2 take part in friendly matches against local schools.

Swimming lessons take place every week from Reception onwards using qualified staff in the superb heated indoor pool at Sherborne School. At the end of the summer term the Pre-Prep hold their own mini gala.

Your children learn the meaning of fair play and the ability to understand and follow the rules of the game whilst at the same time having a lot of fun and being encouraged to develop their confidence and enthusiasm.
