Year 3 Enjoy a Roman Feast
The Year 3 children enjoyed a Roman Feast as part of their history project this term. The children made their own laurel wreathes and dressed up in togas. They feasted on 'stuffed dormice', 'peacocks brains', 'larks tongues', 'jellyfish', 'roast flamingo', 'eyeballs', olives, bread, figs, 'otters noses' and 'snails'! The children washed it all down with cups of 'wine' while cheering on the Charioteers at the Coliseum!
