A fantastic football match for Year 2

Year 2 travelled to The Park School on Friday 3rd February for a friendly football match against a combined Year 1 and 2 Park School team.

In the first quarter, Sherborne played very well and had a few attempts at goal, but were unsuccessful. Park School also tried particularly hard but were unable to find the back of the net. In the second quarter, Christopher managed to score twice and Jack M once. In the 3rd quarter, Sherborne came into their own, with the children dribbling expertly and making some super passes to enable William and Christopher to score a goal each. The final quarter saw Theo find the back of the net with the 6th goal. Final score Sherborne 6 - The Park 0.

Well done to all the children from both schools who put in a tremendous effort and a particular mention should go to the Park School goal keeper who made some great saves. Player of the match was Eloise who worked very hard on the pitch to make some lovely tackles.
