Year 3 learn about the Romans

Year 3 continued their study of Roman Britain this term with a visit from a live Roman Centurion; they then visited a Museum where they learnt all about skeletons; they also visited a Roman town house and a Celtic Round House and finally ended up at Maiden Castle where they all re-enacted a Roman Battle. The children had a great time, learnt so much as everything was brought to 'life'; the Museum curator commented on how well behaved and intelligent the children were.
