The Halloween Party was a brilliant success

October 31^st saw an amazing Halloween Party hosted by the Friends of Sherborne Prep School. The sports hall was transformed, with the lights dimmed, the walls decorated with cobwebs and large spiders and lots of big Witches around the room (the Mummy's dressed up!)

The children changed into some fantastic spooky outfits and excitedly entered the hall with gasps of amazement. The main difficulty was where to start ….. should it be the apple bobbing; the face painting and spooky arm tattooing; mummy wrapping; putting their hands into 'slime' and pulling out the hidden goodies; deciding which delicious scarily decorated cake to choose; pumpkin hoopla; pinning the nose on the Witch; filling the ghostly gloves with popcorn and oh so much more …….

A huge thank you must go to everyone that helped set up and run the event, the children had a wonderful evening, a great excuse for everyone to dress up and enjoy themselves.
