Fernando Velazquez to exhibit alongside some of the world's greatest artists

Fernando Velázquez, Sherborne Prep's inspirational Head of Art, is participating in a prestigious auction event in aid of the Tusk Foundation to be hosted at one of London's most glamorous locations - the headquarters of BAFTA on Piccadilly.

The works of blue-chip art offered in the auction include pieces by internationally renowned artists such as Andy Warhol, Sir Henry Moore, Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Tracey Emin, Norman Parkinson and Sir Peter Blake.

Fernando will contribute to the event with a painting titled "Agua" Oil on paper 2011, as part of his ongoing collaboration with the Tusk Foundation - an organisation, which initiates and funds conservation and community development programmes across Africa.

About Fernando Velázquez: Fernando grew up in a small village just outside Seville and moved to London from Spain in 1996. He is an established artist with many solo exhibitions to his name, including London, New York, Barcelona, Madrid, Berlin. He has be Head of Art at Sherborne Prep since 2004

Tusk Modern takes place at BAFTA on Monday 5th December 2011.
