Cracking the Code event

Some of our Year 7 children were invited to Sherborne Girls' school for a day based on the theme of 'Cracking the Code'. The pupils had the opportunity to use the facilities at both schools, incorporating the curriculum areas of Science, Mathematics, Modern Languages and History. Throughout the day the pupils were given a variety of tasks to investigate, including the extraction of DNA from kiwi fruit!

The children had an amazing day and all entered into the spirit of the event with great enthusiasm; everyone was immensely impressed by their achievements.
