LOST PROPERTY
To help keep lost property to a minimum next term please could you take the time during the holidays to ensure all items of clothing and equipment are named. There will be a sports kit name check on the first day of term.
SPORTS SKIN
From September a new base layer to be worn under games kit, for warmth and protection, will become an optional part of our sports kit. The recommended item can be purchased from www.playerlayer.com or

WRITING COMPETITION
As you may have seen from a recent article in the Blackmore Vale and from a previous school email, Henry B has been shortlisted as a finalist for a national short story competition. Henry wrote his story whilst recovering from a nasty accident during the Easter Holidays and it is a wonderful achievement to have been selected.
The public is invited to read the stories online and then vote for their favourite. It would be lovely if we could support his efforts by taking time to have a read and give him our vote of confidence. You can do this on www.silentnight.co.uk/bookatbedtime. The deadline is 16 July.
