We are proud of the happy atmosphere in our school where our children feel safe and secure. They are encouraged from the earliest age to care for each other, to be themselves and to accept and respect each other’s differences. The children learn that it is important to be courteous, considerate and that good manners matter. We believe it is important that they learn responsibility for themselves and others and develop independence. Care for our children is of paramount importance to all members of the school family and someone will always listen. Our most recent inspection commented that, "The provision of pastoral care is a strength of the school". Our full pastoral and safeguarding care policies are available for viewing on contact with the school. The member of staff responsible for care and child protection is Mrs Annie Gent. The Deputy is Mrs Barbara Kierstead. The school governor responsible for this aspect of the school is Mrs Elly Key. |
