Who are the Friends? Every Parent with a child at Sherborne Prep School is a 'Friend'. Whether your child is in Nursery or Year 8, as a school parent, you are part of the 'Friends' association. Why do we have the Friends? The Friends is a successful concept which was created over ten years ago with the primary aim of supporting parents, especially new parents, and helping them feel welcome and integrated into the School. The Friends Structure The association is co-ordinated by a team made up of a Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and Class 'Reps'. The team's aim is to ensure great communication with every parent so that all parents feel welcome to attend and to contribute to each meeting. A tremendous thank you to everyone involved in the magnificent Friends of Sherborne Prep Summer Fete, which was such an overwhelming success. Families had such fun as the sun shone, with lots going on from egg catching to laser quest, a fabulous choice of food and stalls, and culminating in the second annual Dog Show and the Fathers & Sons Cricket Match. |

Months of planning and dedication came to fruition with the Friends of Sherborne Prep Spring Ball. A fabulous evening with many highlights, which enabled the Friends to make a donation of £15,000 to the SPS Music Centre Appeal. A huge thank you to all who took part in the organisation and to everyone who made the evening so much fun. |

What a fabulous event and a huge thank you to everyone involved on putting on such a super Fair, which gave great pleasure to the children, parents and staff. It was lovely to see everyone having such a fantastic time. |
